Welcome to the BQYC

The BQYC is located in the City of Belleville on the Bay of Quinte, a short walk from the city centre. Our home sailing grounds are in the protected waters of the Bay, one of the best boating areas in Canada.

The Club caters for the sailing interests of both sail and power boaters, and attracts those interested in cruising, racing in keelboats or dinghies, or simply socialising at the Long Reach Bar or at one of our many Social Events. Some of our members get involved in all of the above!

Note that BQYC is a SELF HELP club. There is no paid staff, except for the bar steward. All members are expected to contribute to such activities as the organizing of events, house and grounds maintenance, sailing school, etc.
 

Club Hours:
Monday to Friday 4pm to 9pm
Saturday: 1:00pm to 9:00pm
Sunday: 2:00pm to 7:00pm

Winter Hours: start of November to late April:
Closed Mondays and Sundays.
Open Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri. from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.
Saturdays 1:00pm to 7:00pm.

Pool or Snooker, starts in October, Saturdays 1:30pm to about 4:30pm.
Acoustic Guitar Jamming, at the bar throughout the winter starting mid November: Saturdays 1:30pm. Casual, no registration, no charge, just show up with your guitar. All levels welcome!

If there is member or club rental activity, the Bar may remain open later than posted.
