150 Anniversary Book – 150 Jubilee

The 150th Anniversary book, “Bay of Quinte Yacht Club, Anchored in Belleville for 150 years”, is a collection of stories written and edited by Susan Smith, BQYC Historian and Past Commodore. These stories provide the historical context of the of the founding of the BQYC, racing feats of the Atalanta and Katie Grey, notable members and their histories, major events and fun gatherings, club activities and social events, sail pasts and commodore’s dinners and the sailing school, and it’s benefit to the young members of the Belleville community and much, much more.

In order to help us meet an April publication date orders need to be placed by Club Members from March 9th to April 3rd 2026.

The book will have a cost of $50.00 for a limited run of 40 copies. However, with up to a total of 280 active members, if each club member orders just one copy, the price couild be reduced significantly, by upwards of 20-25 percent.

The Race Result to March 20, 2026

MEMBERS! We’re off to a start but we can do better. The winds of March are blowing hard and we are picking up speed. We need to take advantage of these south west winds to reach the next mark by March 25. We need to remain competitive in the Race. Members WE can do this. Lets work as a well oiled skipper and crew!
