Cruising

Cruising with BQYC is a fantastic way to meet fellow members, make new friends, get out on the water and reach new and exciting destinations. Whether you’re a sailor or power boater, experienced or new skipper – cruising with BQYC is for you!

Our member-organized cruises take place on various days, mostly weekends, throughout the sailing season (May – October) and vary from fun day trips to within the Bay of Quinte, to reciprocal clubs, and voyages beyond the local waterways!

Social Sailing

No boat? No problem! BQYC isn’t just boat owners. If you are a social member and would enjoy a night out on a boat, sign up for our social sailing program to participate in casual sailing with a BQYC skipper!

April 14 & 28, 2025: Info Sessions at the Club
For anyone interested in learning more about the social sailing program and club offerings! Free to attend, open to the public.

May 12, 2025: On-Land Session
For New Members or anyone who wants to polish up their boat knowledge.

May 19 – July 28, 2025: On-Water Sessions
For all participating members to enjoy the experience of sailing together. Volunteer Skippers will be paired with Sailors-to-be and take them for on-the-water experiences on member-owned sailboats.

Skippers aim to leave the dock by 6pm to enjoy some good time on the water before returning for food and drink at the club to connect around the shared experience.

See Calendar for all club event dates!
