EYC Races – 150 Jubilee

The annual Eastern Yachting Circuit (EYC), 2026 EYC races are being hosted by BQYC. This is a special year for BQYC and we are proud to host this event as part of our 150 Jubilee Celebrations.
The EYC regatta is an annual event, rotating between US and Canadian Yacht Clubs from the eastern shores of Lake Ontario. BQYC targeted hosting this event in 2026 to coincide with its 150th anniversary.
This year’s EYC regatta, is being held July 9 – 11, and will bring approximately 40-70 yachts, including keelboats and multihulls, from around eastern shores of Lake Ontario.
We expect 160 – 210 competing sailors, together with visiting friends and family who drive to meet them at BQYC.
These races have been held since 1928, in a spirit of fair play for the 3 day regatta and have a significant family component.
Races will be held in Big Bay and Bay of Quinte opposite Belleville’s Meyers Pier, winds permitting.
The Pier will be an excellent vantage point to take in the Races of many talented Eastern Lake Ontario sailors from both Canadian and American yacht clubs.
The EYC Races are open for viewing by the public from Belleville’s Meyers Pier, when races take place south of the Pier.
(We understand that there may be limited access to the end of Meyers Pier due to City of Belleville construction)
Racing with take place on these bodies of water on the Bay of Quinte
